A Surprise Wedding

This wedding was definitely a first for me! When Dwight first contacted me telling me of his plan to surprise his girlfriend Suzy with a wedding…I was a little skeptical to say the least! The more he told me though, the more I began to understand how special this day was going to be. Dwight and Suzy have been together for 7 years and had talked about going to the courthouse to get married, but Dwight decided it would be more fun to surprise Suzy on their trip to visit their good friends in Oregon with a proposal, and then…a wedding!

With the help of his friends David and Mezra he pulled it off!

Dwight first surprised Suzy by proposing to her at a beautiful spot by the water and boy was she surprised!

Then, Dwight snuck off to “use the bathroom” while I distracted Suzy by taking more pictures of her. When I saw Dwight was ready around the corner for us, Suzy made her way around the corner to find Dwight’s second surprise…
a beautiful bouquet and an officiant ready to marry them right then and there!

What a beautiful and FUN day to get to be part of…thank you Dwight for asking me to be part of the surprise. It is a day I will always remember and I hope you enjoy this little preview of your pictures!
