Portrait Session Prices
All portrait sessions include up to 2 hours with the photographer outdoors, or in local parks in town within a thirty mile radius of Central Point, Oregon. If you would prefer to have indoor pictures (this is usually a must for infant pictures), you may choose to have your pictures taken in our studio space in Grants Pass, Oregon. Please call for travel rates to other areas. An unlimited number of photographs will be taken and you are guaranteed twenty (20) finished proofs will be shown, though usually there are more. You will also be provided with an online gallery for sharing your images with family and friends. All your photos will be digitally edited to make sure they are looking their best! You won’t have to worry about blemishes and scars and you can even have your teeth whitened for that perfect smile and your session allows for several clothing changes if desired. Your portrait session includes both traditional portraits and photo journalistic style photography showcasing Rachel’s unique vision. Your session fee covers Rachel’s time and talent and a disk containing your high resolution digital images on them. You will own your printing rights and you may choose to print your images at your favorite lab, or you can order prints through Rachel from a professional photography lab. Prices are shown below and session fees are due on or before the day of your session.
Standard Portrait Session . . . $175
Our Standard Portrait Session would apply to:

- Engagement Pictures
- Couples
- Children
Included in our Standard Portrait Session is:
- Up to a 2 hours with photographer on location or in Grants Pass studio
- Online proofing gallery
- Retouching of all images
- A CD containing your high resolution digital images (a guaranteed twenty (20) finished proofs will on disk, though usually there are more)
Group/Family Portrait Session . . . $200
This session is for groups or families with up to 6 people in their group. A charge of $15/person will be added for groups over 6 people.
Included in our Group/Family Portrait Session is:
- Up to a 2 hours with photographer on location or in Grants Pass studio
- Online proofing gallery
- Retouching of all images
- A CD containing your high resolution digital images (a guaranteed twenty (20) finished proofs will on disk, though usually there are more)
Newborn Portrait Session . . . $250.00
Our newborn sessions are very detailed, often lasting 4 hours or more to allow plenty of time for eating, changing, and cuddling between photographs. Rachel does her best to fit these precious newborns into her schedule as soon as possible. The ideal time to schedule your newborn session is before the baby is born! This allows some pre-planning around your due date for the child’s arrival. Some of the sweetest newborn images happen in the early weeks, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible after the birth to complete your session.
Included in our Newborn Portrait Session is:
- Up to a 4 hour newborn session (scheduled before 4 weeks of age…hopefully
) - 25 custom designed birth announcements with envelopes
- Option of including your spouse and/or children for a couple shots with no additional cost
- Online proofing gallery
- Retouching of all images
- A CD containing your high resolution digital images (a guaranteed twenty (20) finished proofs will on disk, though usually there are more)
